Colorado Yummy-ness And The Forum’s Spice

Post By Joe Leonard

2020 was a bad year for food and wine festivals, but 2021 is bringing them back in a big way.  Colorado seems to be a real hotspot for foodies this year, with both the Aspen Food and Wine 2021 festival and the “Taste of the Vail” food festival giving food and wine connoisseurs everywhere a reason to enjoy the snowcapped mountains of Colorado.  Read more about these yummy festivals and where you can find the latest info on Getafiesta’s forums.

Aspen Classic Food And Wine Festival

Despite having to reschedule due to the pandemic, Aspen Food and Wine 2021 is shaping up to be a real treat.  The festival has moved its dates from June to September in order to give the team more time to plan the event with everyone’s health and safety in mind.  Aspen Food and Wine 2021 will take place September 10-12th, 2021, with tickets going on sale at some point in April 2021.

One benefit of the rescheduling is that it’ll allow Aspen Food and Wine 2021 to offer some of the same programming that people have enjoyed in previous years, such as cooking demonstrations with world-class talent or rich and interesting panel discussions.  The festival even has plans to add a few virtual components in addition to their in-person experiences, which we’ll be sure to update you with as soon as we know more.

Vail Colorado Food And Wine Festival

Aspen Food and Wine 2021 isn’t the only festival for foodies in Colorado—the “Taste of the Vail” Colorado Food Festival also has plans to move forward this year.  This iconic food and wine festival showcases the owners and winemakers from around 50 of the top wineries in the country.  You’ll attend events like “The Debut of Rosé” or “The American Lamb Cook-Off”, sampling the finest wines and lamb dishes that Vail has to offer.

The dates for the 2021 festival were originally set for April 7-10th, but were pushed back to the fall of 2021, and tickets will go on sale in April.  One of the benefits of buying tickets to Taste of the Vail is that you can use the ticket for either the 2021 festival or the 2022 festival, which is set to take place April 6-9th, 2022.  So if COVID-19 concerns keep you from attending this year, your money won’t go to waste.
