Volta + The Armory New York

Event Info

VOLTA and The Armory are two famous art festivals. Art dealers founded The Armory back in 1994 with a goal of creating a fantastic new art fair in order to support artists and get them the attention that they deserve. This has since become a staple in the New York art market as well as the art market in the industry as a whole. This event has not only become a major force in the art world, but it has also become an event of cultural significance in New York. The Armory is expected to take place from September 9th to the 12th in 2021 at the Javits Center.

VOLTA is an annual art event that was first established in 2005 in Basel, typically occurring during Art Basel week in Switzerland. In 2008, VOLTA New York was officially launched to support and nurture the discovery of art through its showcase of art works during The Armory week. The art pieces showcased here are by both emerging and mid-career artists who specialize in contemporary works. This is an event that is perfect for those people who are new to the New York art market. There is no entrance fee to this event. The next VOLTA New York event is scheduled for 2022.
