Focused on rock music, the Fuji Rock Festival is an annual event that is held in the picturesque area of the Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata Perfecture, Japan. The event was founded in 1997, first being held on the base of Mount Fuji. It was in 1999 that this festival moved to its current location. The event has 7 main stages in addition to other minor stages that are spread throughout this site. The main stage is called the Green Stage, with a capacity of 50,000 guests. The other major stages include the White Stage, Orange Court, Field of Heaven, and the Red Marquee.
